Vancouver Foundation

Vancouver Foundation’s purpose is to bring together community assets to address current and emerging community needs. To do this we take a broad view of philanthropy: we recognize that raising funds to tackle an issue is only part of any solution. We also engage citizens, organizations and governments, and invite them to work together and contribute their time, ideas, expertise and energy to an issue. We believe this is the most meaningful and effective way to make lasting improvements.

The Hamber Foundation

The Hamber Foundation is incorporated under the Societies Act of British Columbia and is registered under the Income Tax Act of Canada as a private charity. The Foundation makes grants for cultural, educational and charitable purposes within the Province of British Columbia. The Foundation prefers to support specific projects rather than contributing to general sustaining assistance or to large capital projects. The Foundation may review major grant proposals from time to time.

Coast Capital Savings

Every year, Coast Capital Savings invests 7% of our pre-tax profits towards local community causes. Since 2000, that’s more than $65 million.

Because youth face many challenges on their journey to independence, Coast Capital Savings strategically invests and works alongside our community partners to break down many of the barriers that young people face.
