Become a Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator responsibilities include: attending math/ reading training, orientation, Mentor sessions, and Program Coordinator meetings, facilitating Mentor meetings, facilitating debrief after each Mentor session, tracking Mentor reports, completing Program Coordinator reports, taking attendance, guiding and providing feedback to Mentors, providing references for Mentors, reporting to Executive Coordinator, and assisting in volunteer recruitment. This is a leadership role that requires experience as a Mentor Tutor.

  • Criminal Record Checks

    Criminal records checks are MANDATORY for any volunteer who is no longer in high school. The record check is free and you can use it elsewhere if needed. Please open this link and complete the outlined steps before our tutor training session in late September.
  • Volunteer Hours Certificate

    Upon completion of 30 hours, you will be eligible for a volunteer certificate. Each session, including prep time done outside the session, may count up to 2 hours.
