Become an Executive Coordinator
Executive Coordinator responsibilities include: attending reading training, orientation, mentor sessions, and Executive Coordinator meetings, facilitating Program Coordinator meetings, tracking Program Coordinator reports, completing Executive Coordinator reports, taking attendance, guiding and providing feedback to Mentors and Program Coordinators, providing references for Program Coordinators and Mentors, act as a liaison between Learning Buddies Network and the school/site, and assisting in volunteer recruitment. This is a leadership role that requires experience as a Mentor and Program Coordinator.
For Fall, 2020, our programs will all be hosted online through Zoom or a similar platform. We are only able to offer our Reading program at this time. Buddies will still come from Elementary schools in the Lower Mainland, but specific dates for each school are still in the process of being confirmed. Our programs will run twice a week on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays with the following timeslots for ECs: 3:25 – 4:45 pm or 4:40 – 6:00 pm.
Here are the dates for this term:
· Mentor Training: Wed, Sept 16th 5-8pm
· Executive Coordinator and Program Coordinator Training: Thurs, Sept 17th 5-7:30pm
· Mentor Training (Backup): Tues, Sept 22nd 5-8pm
· Zoom Training: Thurs, Sept 24th 5-6pm
· Group Orientations: September 28th to October 2nd during your program’s timeslot
Programs tentatively begin on the week of October 5th.
