Executive Coordinator
As an Executive Coordinator (EC), you are the leader of your program pod. You will be working closely with a Program Coordinator (PC) who is your counterpart and an important part of the pod’s leadership team. Your overarching focus throughout the program is overseeing the progress and success of all Mentor-Buddy pairs in your pod.
We offer both online and in-person programs.

Complete the Executive Coordinator training
Attend the coordinator meeting
Check Moodle for mentors’ training certificates
Participate in the orientation during the first week of the programs
Record mentor attendance
Lead mentor meetings
Debrief after each session
Track program coordinator reports
Complete Executive Coordinator reports
Guide and provide feedback to mentors & Program Coordinators
Oversee and check in on mentors during sessions
Provide references for mentors & Program Coordinators
Act as a liaison between Learning Buddies Network and the buddies’ families
Assist in volunteer recruitment

At least 15 years old OR in Grade 10
The mandatory training must be completed
Volunteers must have a criminal record check done before volunteering with children
Must be located in Canada or the Continental United States
Executive Coordinators must have previous experience as a mentor and Program Coordinator as this is a leadership role
